Can I be honest? Fall kicked my butt, and after my crazy busy stretch I didn't get my camera out unless I HAD to. And then it hit me, with near tears in my eyes, that I had gotten so busy capturing everyone else's moments that I had stopped capturing my own. So, over Christmas break, I kept my camera out and just grabbed it here and there to capture the little things that keep me going, put a smile in my heart and keep me thankful for this life.
"I'm beginning to recognize that real happiness isn't something large and looming on the horizon ahead but something small, numerous and already here. The smile of someone you love. A decent breakfast. The warm sunset. Your little everyday joys all lined up in a row."
And these last 4 images are what happened when Daddy took the Christmas tree down.... Oh, our sweet, tender hearted little boy!
